FULL - Buttercream Basics - Fri Feb 23rd

Ditch the canned frosting for good and come discover how delicious and easy Homemade Buttercream can be! In this class we will explore and taste variations of buttercream from the classic American Buttercream to Chef Alisha's go-to Italian Buttercream. Then the fun really starts when each student gets to decorate their very own tray cake to take home. We will learn how to properly fill and hold a piping bag to avoid mess; review and practice piping techniques using a variety of basic tips; and discuss flavoring and coloring of buttercreams.

All students will receive a piping bag, coupler, and four basic tips as part of their class fee.

The instructor has requested that this class be age 14+. Once she has taught the class a couple times, she plans to add parent/child classes to upcoming schedules.

Dietary/allergen info: Class ingredients include gluten and dairy.

FULL - Learn to Make Homemade Pasta! - Thurs Mar 7th AM

If you've been wanting to try your hand at Homemade Pasta, this is a great place to start! Chef Amy will guide you through the process of making pasta dough, both by hand and using a food processor. Then, we'll use the doughs to create a machine-cut Fettucini, and a basic Ravioli with Ricotta Filling. Meanwhile, we'll put together three sauces: a simple and flavorful Vodka Tomato Sauce; a Winter Greens Pesto; and a tasty Lemony Alfredo Sauce. Buon appetito!

 

Dietary info: The recipes for this class may include the following common allergen ingredients: dairy, egg, and tree nuts (walnut). The class is vegetarian but does contain dairy in every sauce.

The kitchen is in full bloom! In this hands-on class you will learn to make Basic Buttercream Flowers and decorate your own beautiful Cupcake Bouquet. Chef Alisha will demonstrate different flower styles and techniques and guide you as you create your own work of art. All the tools for this class will be provided, along with recipes for the components used. Each student will take home their spring bouquet of six cupcakes.

All students will receive a large piping bag, coupler, and four basic tips as part of their class fee.
